Management Background
The manager and owner of MPD Pharmacy is a capable and proven businessman not only has academic experience but also has hands-on business experience. Academically he completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree in 2006 with the University of Kwazulu-Natal. The work experience that Mr Zulu span for more than 8 years, it started with an internship at Wentworth Hospital in Durban, from there he was offered a job as a Community Pharmacist at All Saints Hospital, Engcobo which he pursued for a year into 2009. During
the year of 2009 till December Mr Zulu worked at Engcobo Link Retail Pharmacy as Pharmacist , and because of a better offer at both Elliot and Madeira Link Pharmacies in Umtata he was a responsible Pharmacist. Adding to the jobs at Elliot and Madeira Link Pharmacies the business owner is also a Pharmacist for Mthatha Sub Acute Hospital Pharmacy since 1 April 2013 to date.

MPD Pharmacy is in the retail pharmacy business. MPD Pharmacy’s vision is to provide its customers with a great store ambience, hygiene, good assortment of merchandise, great service and convenience.

- Increase sales volumes within the province – the steel market has grown considerably yet more profits remain with the paper source therefore MPD Pharmacy intends on establishing enough clientele to produce more volumes which will result to more profit.
- Provide necessary quality supplies – MPD Pharmacy will be using both prescribed and none prescribed medicines, this will serve different markets, lower and middle class.
- To create job opportunities and contribute to Local Economic Development.
- Both markets form part of the largest consumers within the industry, ensure customer satisfaction – MPD Pharmacy will also use external means of transportation to ensure in time delivery to customers and equally provide quality as per standard requirements.
